# Export analytics data

Export detailed, session-level filter and search analytics data to a spreadsheet for reporting or deeper analysis.

## What this does

Downloads every recorded filter and search session as spreadsheet rows — not just the summary charts shown in the app — so you can build your own dashboard, hand the raw data to a BI tool, or dig into individual sessions (for example, exactly which filters one shopper applied before leaving without a purchase). The download contains both filter and search data, each on its own sheet.

## Steps

1. In the app, go to **Analytics**.
2. Click **Export** in the top bar.
3. Open the downloaded file — it contains two sheets, **Filter** and **Search**.

## What's in the export

Unlike the on-screen charts, the export is **not limited to the date range currently selected on screen** — it always includes your full retained analytics history (see retention below). Each row is one shopper session, not a daily rollup.

* **Filter sheet columns**: Date & time, Page, Collection, Search query, Filters used, Number of filters, Products shown, Found products?, Sorted by, Product clicks, Products clicked, First click position, Time to first click, Session length, Cleared all filters?, Saw empty results?, Device, Visitor.
* **Search sheet columns**: Date & time, Search term, Results found, No results?, Sorted by, Product clicks, Products clicked, First click position, Time to first click, Converted?, Conversion, Revenue, Collection, How it ended, Session length, Device, Visitor.

Each sheet is capped at 50,000 rows. If your store has more sessions than that in the retention window, export more often to avoid missing data.

## How long is data retained?

How far back your analytics data (and therefore your export) reaches depends on your plan:

* **Basic plan** — 90 days.
* **Professional plan** — 180 days.
