Adjust number of products by screen size
You can customize how many products appear in the recommendation section for desktop, tablet and mobile users using the Smart Product Filter & Search app.
🛠️ Steps to Adjust Product Display Count
1️⃣ Open Theme Customizer
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Click Customize for the theme you’re working with.
2️⃣ Select the App's Recommendation Block
In the theme customizer, navigate to the page where the recommendation block is placed (e.g., homepage).
In the left panel, click on the Smart Product Filter & Search recommendation block.
3️⃣ Adjust Product Count by Device
The Manual Related Products section will appear on the right-hand settings panel.
You’ll see three fields:
Desktop: Set how many products to show on larger screens.
Tablet: Set how many products to show on tablet/iPad screens.
Mobile: Set how many products to show on phones or smaller screens.
🎯 Customize these numbers to ensure the layout looks great on all devices.
4️⃣ Save Changes
After adjusting the settings, click Save in the top-right corner to apply your changes.
✅ That’s it!
Your recommendation section will now display a different number of products depending on the screen size, offering a smoother and more responsive shopping experience.
