# Delete filter option

✨Need to remove a filter option (like “Vendor” or “Color”) from your sidebar? Follow the simple steps below to delete it from your store’s filter.

### ✅Step-by-Step Guide

#### ⚡️Step 1 – Open Your Filter Sidebar Settings

1. From your Shopify admin, go to the **Smart Product Filter & Search** app.
2. Navigate to **Filter > Manage Filter**.
3. Click on the filter tree you want to update.

#### ⚡️Step 2 – Remove the Filter Option

1. Scroll to the list of filter options in the sidebar.
2. Find the one you want to delete.
3. Click the **🗑️ trash icon** next to that filter option.
