🔹Enable/disable a sort option
Effectively managing product sorting enhances the shopping experience by allowing customers to view products in their preferred order. The Smart Product Filter & Search app enables you to customize sorting options on your collection pages. Here's how to set it up:
Access the App Settings:
From your Shopify admin panel, navigate to Apps and select Smart Product Filter & Search.
Navigate to Sorting Options:
In the app's left sidebar, click on Settings.
Scroll down to the Sort By section.
Manage Available Sorting Options:
Under Allowed sorting options, click on the search field to view available sorting criteria.
To enable or disable a sorting option, check or uncheck the corresponding box. Available options include:
Featured (also known as Manually): Displays products based on the order set in your Shopify collections.
Best-selling: Shows products ranked by sales performance.
Alphabetical (A-Z or Z-A): Sorts products by title in ascending or descending order.
Price (low to high or high to low): Organizes products based on price.
Date (new to old or old to new): Arranges products by their creation or publication date.
% Sale off: Sorts products by the percentage discount offered.
Save Your Changes:
Click the Save button to apply your configurations.
🔹Disable sorting options using metafield data
1. Access the App Settings
From your Shopify admin panel, navigate to Apps and select Smart Product Filter & Search.
2. Navigate to Metafields Settings
In the app's left sidebar, click on Settings.
Scroll down to the Metafields section.
3. Disable the Desired Sorting Option
Within the list of metafields, locate the specific metafield associated with the sorting option you wish to disable.
Uncheck the box corresponding to the Sort option for that metafield.
4. Save Your Changes
Click the Save button to apply your configurations.
