# Show variants as separate products

✨Displaying product variants as separate items on your collection pages can enhance product visibility and improve the shopping experience.&#x20;

## **Follow these steps to enable this feature:**

### ⚡️**1. Access the App Settings**

* From your Shopify admin dashboard, go to the **Apps** section and select **Smart Product Filter & Search**.

### ⚡️**2. Enable the Feature**

* In the app's left-hand sidebar, click on **Settings**.
* In the **General** tab, scroll down to the **Show variants as a separate products** section.
* Check the box labeled **Enable setting**.

### ⚡️**3. Choose Variant Options**

* In the dropdown field below, select the variant option(s) you want to display as separate products (e.g., **Color, Size**).

### ⚡️**4. Select Collection Pages to Apply This Feature (optional)**

* Below the variant selection, find the **Select collections to display variants** option.
* Click on it and select the specific collection pages where you want this feature to apply.

### ⚡️**5. Save Your Changes**

* Click the **Save** button to apply your changes.

<mark style="color:red;">This feature is only available if you have</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">**enabled our app's filter sidebar**</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">for your collection pages. If the sidebar is disabled, variants will not be displayed as separate products.</mark>

By following these steps, each variant (e.g., different colors or sizes) will appear as individual products on your selected collection pages, making it easier for customers to find exactly what they're looking for.
