# Show rating stars in the filter sidebar

Adding rating stars to your filter sidebar helps customers quickly find highly-rated products, improving their shopping experience. Follow this step-by-step guide to enable this feature in the **Smart Product Filter & Search** app.

### **Step 1: Enable Product Reviews in Shopify**

If you haven't enabled product reviews yet, follow these steps:

1. Install a [Shopify-compatible review app](https://docs.globo.io/filter/app-integrations/product-review-apps) (e.g., **Shopify Product Reviews**, **Judge.me**, **Loox**, **Stamped.io**, or **Yotpo**).
2. Ensure that the review app is integrated with your store and displaying rating stars on product pages.

> *Note: The rating filter works only if your store has a product review app installed.*

### **Step 2: Connect the Review App to the Filter Sidebar**

To ensure the rating stars appear in the filter sidebar:

1. **Go to** the **Smart Product Filter & Search** app.
2. **Open** the **Integration** settings.
3. **Find** your installed review app and **enable** the integration.
4. **Click Save** to confirm the changes.
