Display all collection values in filter option
Show every collection in a Collection-sourced filter option, even ones with no products currently matching the page.
What this does
By default, a Collection-sourced filter option only lists collections that currently have at least one matching product on the page being filtered — a collection with zero matches simply doesn't appear. For a store-wide "Shop by category" style menu, that's usually not what you want: shoppers expect to see every category consistently, not have entries blink in and out as they filter. Turning this on keeps every collection you've added to the option visible at all times, regardless of whether it currently has matching products.
Prerequisites
A filter option whose Source is Collection — see Configure collection data source.
Steps
Open the filter option.
Under Values, set Type to Use all values (instead of Manual selection) — see Manage filter option values for how Type and Sort work for any filter option.
Click Save.

Shoppers then see the full collection tree in the storefront filter sidebar, including collections that have no products matching their current filter/search.
