# Product page block

By default the product-page widget injects itself automatically near your product form — no theme edit needed. If you want to control the **exact position** (or your theme's layout is unusual), add the app block to your product template.

## When to add the block

* You want the widget above/below a specific element (description, buy buttons…).
* The automatic position doesn't suit your theme.
* You want the fastest possible paint — the block renders the widget **server-side**, before any JavaScript loads.

## Add the block

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Open your product template

**Online Store → Themes → Customize**, then switch the top bar to a **Product** template.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Add the "Combined Listings" block

In the product information section, click **Add block** and pick **Combined Listings** (listed under Apps).

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Drag it into position and Save

Place it wherever you like inside the section — commonly right below the price or variant picker.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Blocks are **per template**. If you use multiple product templates, add the block to each one where you want a fixed position. Templates without the block still get the automatic placement.
{% endhint %}

## Checking placement

The **Home** app status card shows how many product-page blocks are active on your published theme.
