# Will the App Slow Down My Store?

How Globo Mega Menu keeps your store fast.

No. The menu is built to keep your pages fast:

* ⚡ **Non-blocking loading** — the menu script loads asynchronously and submenu styles load without blocking the page, so your content isn't held up.
* 🧩 **Only what you use** — icon fonts are loaded only if your menu uses them, and the bottom bar's files only load when you have a bottom bar.
* 🖼️ **Lazy-loaded images** — with **Settings** > **Advanced** > **Enable lazyload image** on, menu images load only when needed. We recommend keeping it on.
* ✨ **No flicker** — your theme's original menu is hidden while the new menu loads, so shoppers don't see the old menu flash.

**Tips for a lighter menu:** keep **Enable lazyload image** on, use images in a sensible size, and avoid putting many heavy embeds (videos, maps) in one menu.
