# Multiple Menus and Campaigns

Prepare seasonal menus in advance and control which one is shown.

With the **Multi-menu** feature (**Pro Navigation** plan) you can keep several menus ready in the app, such as *Black Friday*, *Christmas* or *New Year*. You can switch between them in a couple of clicks, or [schedule](/globo-mega-menu/manage-menus/schedule-menus-and-items.md) them so they go live and come down on their own.

* 🛍 **Black Friday – Cyber Monday menu**: focus on top deals and flash sales.
* 🎄 **Christmas menu**: showcase gift guides and limited-time bundles.

**Without Multi-menu**, only one menu can be active at a time. When you publish a menu, the menu that was active before goes back to **Draft**. You can still keep several draft menus in the app, up to the [10-menu limit](/globo-mega-menu/manage-menus/menu-manager.md).

## <mark style="color:blue;">Prepare a Campaign Menu</mark>

### Duplicate your current menu

In **Menu manager**, click **⋯** on your live menu, then click **Duplicate**. A draft copy named **Copy of …** appears in the list.

### Rename it

Click **⋯** > **Rename** on the copy and give it a clear name, for example *Black Friday 2026*. Then click **Save**.

### Edit the campaign content

Click **Customize** and change what you need: add a *Sale* item, a countdown, a banner image, and so on. Click **Save**. The menu stays a **Draft**, so customers don't see it yet.

### Put it live

Choose one of these:

* **Schedule it (recommended):** click **Publish**, tick **Schedule publishing** and set the start and end of the campaign. The menu shows only during that period. See [Schedule Menus and Items](/globo-mega-menu/manage-menus/schedule-menus-and-items.md).
* **Switch manually:** **Publish** the campaign menu, then **Disable** the regular menu. When the campaign ends, do the reverse.

## <mark style="color:blue;">Which Menu Is Shown?</mark>

When several menus are **Active** at the same time, the app decides which one each visitor sees. The rule depends on the menu's **Position** setting (see [Publish New Menu to Theme](/globo-mega-menu/basic-knowledge/publish-new-menu-to-theme.md)).

### Automatically replace / Replace existing menu

Only **one** of these menus is shown at a time. The app skips any scheduled menu that is outside its dates, then picks from the rest in this order:

1. A menu with **both** a start and an end date. If there are several, the one that **ends first** wins.
2. Otherwise, a menu with **only a start date**. If there are several, the one that **started most recently** wins.
3. Otherwise, a menu with **only an end date**. If there are several, the one that **ends first** wins.
4. Otherwise (no schedule), the **most recently created** menu.

So you can leave your regular menu active with no schedule and publish a scheduled campaign menu next to it. During the campaign, the scheduled menu wins. When it ends, your regular menu shows again automatically.

### Show menu on this CSS selector

Each set of CSS selectors shows its own menu, so menus that use different selectors can appear at the same time. If two active menus use exactly the same selectors, the same order as above decides which one shows.

**The wrong menu is showing?**

* Two unscheduled menus are both **Active** with automatic placement: the **most recently created** one wins, not the one you published last. **Disable** the menu you don't want.
* A scheduled menu shows only between its dates. Hover over the calendar icon in Menu manager to check its **Publish on** / **Unpublish on** dates.
* Menus that use [Market availability](/globo-mega-menu/manage-menus/show-menus-by-market.md) only count for visitors from the selected markets.
* After changing things, wait a few minutes and refresh the storefront.
