# Add badge to menu item

### 1. Access the Menu Item Settings

* In the **Globo Mega Menu** app's admin interface, locate the menu item to which you want to add a badge.​
* Hover over the desired menu item and click the **"Edit item"** icon.

### 2. Configure the Badge

* In the settings panel, enter the desired badge text (e.g., "New", "Sale", "Hot") in the **Badge Text** field.​
* Customize the badge's appearance by selecting the **Text Color** and **Background Color** to match your store's design.

### 3. Save and apply changes

* Click the **"Save"** button to apply your changes.​
* Review your store's navigation menu to ensure the badge displays as intended.
