Blocks Overview

Blocks are the content of a mega menu or tab — links, images, products and more.

A block is one piece of content inside a mega menu (or inside a tab): a column of links, a banner image, a product grid, a countdown and so on. Blocks sit side by side in a row, and each block's Width decides how much of the row it takes. Use blocks whenever a simple dropdown isn't enough and you want to show images, products or promotions right in the menu.

Add a Block

1

Click Add block

Open the menu in the editor and click the menu item that has a mega menu (in the Elements list on the left, or in the preview) so its panel opens. Click + Add block in the empty area of the panel.

The Select block panel opens.

  1. On the right, click a block group (for example Multi block, Link list or Countdown).

  2. The layouts of that group appear on the left. Hover over a layout and click Select.

A layout with a Growth Navigation or Pro Navigation badge is not included in your current plan. Its button reads Upgrade to use and takes you to Pricing.

3

Edit the block

The block is added to the panel and its settings open in the Edit Item sidebar. Set the content, then pick the block's Width. You can click any block in the preview later to edit it again.

4

Save and publish

Click Save, then Publish so the change goes live on your store.
