Do pre-orders work with Shopify Bundles?

Currently, pre-order function is not compatible with Shopify Bundles.

This is not a limitation of our app specifically. It is a limitation of Shopify's Selling Plan API.

Why Doesn't It Work?

Pre-order apps use Shopify Selling Plans to enable pre-orders.

Most bundle apps, including Shopify Bundles, create or modify cart line items in a way that is not compatible with Selling Plans. Because of this, pre-order functionality cannot be applied to bundled products.

As a result, customers may be unable to purchase bundled pre-order products, or the pre-order experience may not work as expected.

Is There a Workaround?

At the moment, there is no supported workaround. This limitation applies to all pre-order apps that rely on Shopify Selling Plans.
