# Hide specific products on collection and search page

Hide products from the storefront's collection grid and search results based on their tags — useful for internal-only or unlisted products.

## What this does

Tag a product (for example, `internal-only` or `hidden`) and it disappears from collection/filter grids and/or search results — without unpublishing it from your Online Store, so it's still reachable by direct link if you need that. You can use one tag list for collection/filter grids and a different one for search, so a product could be hidden from browsing but still findable by direct search, or vice versa.

## Steps

1. In the app, go to **Settings > General**.
2. Under **Hide products by tags**, enter the tag(s) that mark a product as hidden from collection/filter grids.
3. Under **Hide products by tags when searching**, enter the tag(s) that mark a product as hidden from search results (this can be the same or a different tag list).
4. Click **Save** in the bar at the top of the page.
