# App integrations

Make the app's widgets appear in page builders and alongside other apps.

The app renders through Shopify theme app blocks, which most modern themes support. When a product page is built by a page builder instead, or when another app controls part of the page, the widget needs a container to render into.

## The containers

Each widget renders into its own element. If that element is already on the page the app fills it; if not, the app inserts one itself at a position that suits your theme. Putting the element where you want it is how you control placement.

Whichever route you take, keep the theme's or the builder's own variant picker on the page. The app listens to it to know which variant is selected — remove it and the wrong variant can end up in the cart.
