Auto Assign with AI

Let the app propose which images belong to which option value.

Sorting a 40-image gallery into six colours by hand is slow. Auto Assign AI reads your product's images, their file names and their alt text, and proposes a grouping. You review it before saving.

Run it

  1. Go to Assign images and open a product.

  2. Click Auto Assign AI at the top of the editor.

  3. Wait — the app shows Waiting for AI…, then Applying results…. All images go in one request, so a large gallery can take a couple of minutes. You can cancel while it's waiting.

  4. Check the proposed rows, adjust anything that's wrong by dragging, and click Save.

Auto Assign AI sits at the top of the editor, above the option tabs.

Nothing is saved automatically. The suggestions stay on screen until you save them, so you can always leave the page to discard them.

The app has your images, their file names and their alt text to work from. Naming your files tshirt-navy-front.jpg rather than IMG_2043.jpg, and filling in alt text in Shopify, makes a noticeable difference.

Monthly allowance

Auto Assign AI has a monthly image allowance that depends on your plan. When you reach it, the app tells you the limit has been reached and when it resets. Hovering the button shows your allowance and reset date.

Auto Assign AI is part of a paid plan and is not available on development stores. See Plans and pricing.
