Sync product data

Refresh the app's copy of your products after you add or change variants.

The app keeps its own list of the product options and values in your catalog. That list is what the Options page shows and what your swatches are built from. When you add a product, add a variant, rename an option value, or change a variant image in Shopify, run a sync so the app picks it up.

Run a sync

  1. Go to Options.

  2. In the Sync your online store card, click Update data.

  3. A Sync data window appears while the app works. It closes on its own, the option list reloads, and a Done syncing message confirms it finished.

When to sync

Run Update data after you:

  • add new products, or new variants to an existing product;

  • add or rename option values (for example a new "Sand" colour);

  • assign or change variant images in Shopify;

  • import products from a CSV or another app.

New option values arrive without a colour or image, so the option's status changes to Needs setup and a banner tells you how many values are missing. Open Set swatches to fill them in — see Set color and image swatches.

If a new product still doesn't show swatches

  • Confirm the product actually has variants. Products with a single default variant have nothing to show unless you enable Show single variant swatch — see Swatch on product page.

  • Confirm the option's display style is set for the surface you're looking at. Collection pages default to Do not show (Default) — see Show swatches on collection pages.

  • Confirm the app embed is on for the theme you're viewing — see Turn on the app in your theme.
