Fill swatches with AI color match

Let the app propose a colour for every option value, then review before saving.

Instead of setting sixty colours by hand, AI color match reads your option value names and proposes a colour for each one. You review the result and keep it or undo it.

Steps

  1. Go to Options and click Set swatches on the option you want to fill.

  2. Click AI color match at the top of the value list.

  3. Wait for it to finish. A message confirms how many colours were assigned.

  4. Check the proposed colours down the list, then click Save to keep them.

AI color match sits above the value list, next to Show missing only.

Undo it

Right after a run, a Revert button appears next to AI color match. Click it to put the previous colours back. Once you navigate away, Revert is gone — but nothing is permanent until you Save, so you can also leave the page without saving.

Values it can't match

Names that don't describe a colour — product codes, sizes, finishes like "Matte" — can't be matched. When that happens a note tells you how many values were skipped and suggests renaming them with colour keywords such as "Red" or "Blue", or choosing the colours manually.

Turn on Show missing only afterwards to see exactly what's left, and set those by hand or with an image.

Good to know

  • AI color match only fills 1 color swatches. Two-colour and image swatches are set by hand or by CSV import.

  • It proposes colours; it never publishes them by itself. Nothing reaches your storefront until you Save.

  • Always review the result — an unusual colour name can be matched to something you didn't intend.

AI color match is part of a paid plan. See Plans and pricing.
