# Product groups settings

Storewide display options for product groups.

**Settings → Product groups** holds the options that apply to every [product group](/swatch/product-groups/overview.md), rather than to one group at a time.

## General

| Setting                            | What it does                                                                                                                               |
| ---------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Show Group Name**                | Show or hide the option name of the product group above the swatches.                                                                      |
| **Show Tooltip for Product Group** | Show each product's label on hover. Only applies to the product image swatch style, and may not display properly when Carousel is enabled. |

## Product Group on Collection Page

| Setting                                                     | What it does                                                             |
| ----------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Show Carousel**                                           | Show the product group in a single line.                                 |
| **Limit of the product number displayed for Product Group** | Hide extra products and show a "More" button.                            |
| **Limit**                                                   | How many to show before the "More" button. Appears when the limit is on. |

Large groups can overwhelm a product card. Either the carousel or the limit keeps the grid readable — you rarely need both.

## Product Group on Product Page

| Setting           | What it does                                                 |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Show Carousel** | Show the product group in a single line on the product page. |

## Save

Click **Save** at the top of the page.
