How to set up Pre-order product as Single Product

This document shows how to set up Pre-order by single product. Follow these steps to enable pre-orders for a product using the Globo app.

1. Add a Product for Pre-Order

  1. In the admin panel, go to the "Single Products" tab.

  2. Click "Add Products" and select the product you want.

  3. If your product has variants:

    • To apply the same pre-order settings to all variants, check the box “Same pre-order settings for all variants”.

    • To set up pre-orders per variant, uncheck the box and customize each one.

2. Enable Pre-Order & Set Dates

  • Start Date (Required): The date when the pre-order begins. By default, it uses the current date.

  • End Date (Optional): The date when the pre-order ends.

3. Choose Pre-Order Conditions

Depending on how many your product have in-stock from Shopify Product, you can decide which condition to select:

  • Pre-order regardless of stock levels: Pre-orders start on the set Start Date, regardless of stock.

  • Pre-order only when Out of Stock: Pre-orders begin when stock reaches 0 and below.

  • Pre-order only when Shopify inventory is available: Pre-orders are shown only if the product has stock.

In Stock Settings, you can limit how many items that people can Pre-order by setting specific limit of stock:

  • Unlimited Stock: There is no limit number of stock on when the Pre-order will pause.

  • Limited Stock: Pause pre-order program when inventory quantity reach to this number.

4. Overselling setting

For the out of stock variants, please enable :

  • Turn ON "Continue selling when out of stock" for all "Track quantity" products: so customers can add the item to cart as Pre-order

  • Turn OFF "Continue selling when out of stock" for all "Track quantity" product: to avoid customers from adding over the limit.

5. Set Button Behavior After Pre-Order Ends

Choose what customers see when pre-orders are over:

  • Show "Add to Cart" or "Sold Out" (based on stock).

  • Add to cart/Sold out. Show "Not available message" (The text "Not available message can be chanaged in the Translation tab)

6. Select Payment & Discounts

  • Full Payment: Charge the full price with optional discounts ($ or %).

  • Partial Payment: Allow customers to pay a deposit first and complete the payment later.

7. Customize Buttons & Messages

  • Enable the checkbox to customize button text, messages, and out-of-stock notices.

8. Save Your Changes

Click "Save" to apply your settings.
