# Setting up quantity breaks

## **Benefits of Quantity Breaks**

## Step by step guide:

### <mark style="color:blue;">1. Go to the quantity breaks feature</mark>

* Open your Shopify admin panel.
* Navigate to **Apps** and select **Globo Color Swatch**.
* Go to the **Quantity Breaks** page.
* Click **Add Quantity Breaks**.

### <mark style="color:blue;">2. General setting quantity breaks</mark>

* Enter a offer **name** for the quantity breaks&#x20;
* Enter quantity breaks **title** show on frontstore for the bundle (e.g: Choose your offer)
* Change **visibility** (all products, specific products)

If you select **all product**, then the quantity breaks configuration will be displayed for all products. Also, you can exclude some products from showing at Exclude Products -> Specific products.

If you setup  quantity breaks for  **specific products**, please choose **visibility -> specific products -> a product selection popup will open,**&#x20;

### Setup rule offer

* <mark style="color:orange;">**Title \***</mark>**:** Title for offer bundle
* <mark style="color:orange;">**Subtitle**</mark>**:** Use to further describe the offer bundle, you can set blank to not show&#x20;
* <mark style="color:orange;">**Quantity \***</mark>**:** Quantity of products in current offer
* <mark style="color:orange;">**Label**</mark>**:** A small label located along the header, you can set blank to not show (often used to highlight, categorize promotional offer)
* <mark style="color:orange;">**Discount type and discount value:**</mark> Setup discount type and discount value (fixed amount or percentage), \
  If you don't want to set discount, set discount type -> default
* <mark style="color:orange;">**Badge style and text:**</mark> Highlight for pack, should only be used for best choose
* <mark style="color:orange;">**Image url**</mark>**:** Offer image, if you don't want to display, leave blank
* <mark style="color:orange;">**Selected by default:**</mark> The offer will have only 1 default offer, when you first enter the site, this package will be selected
* <mark style="color:orange;">**Delete:**</mark> delete current offer

### <mark style="color:blue;">4. Add app block show on the product page</mark>

* Navigate to **Theme Customization** in Shopify.
* Go to **Product Page** settings.
* Click **Apps** ->  choose **Bundles Quantity Breaks** option to showcase the offers.

### <mark style="color:blue;">5. Save And Preview</mark>

1. Click **Save** to apply changes.
2. Visit a product page to ensure that the quantity breaks are displayed correctly.
3. Test different quantity selections to confirm the correct discount is applied.

## Advanced settings

#### <mark style="color:orange;">Variants:</mark>

* Let customers choose different variants for each item&#x20;
* Hide theme variant picker

#### <mark style="color:orange;">Show prices per item:</mark>&#x20;

* By default we show the total price after multiplying by the number for each product in the offer, if you enable <mark style="color:orange;">show prices per item</mark> on product, it will show the original price of the product

#### <mark style="color:orange;">Skip cart and go to checkout directly:</mark>&#x20;

* By default, after clicking add bundle to cart, the popup cart modal will be displayed (depending on the theme you use and the add to cart function of the theme)
* If you enable this function, the app will take the user to the checkout page when adding bundle to cart

#### <mark style="color:orange;">Show compare at price:</mark>

* By default we only show the selling price, if you enable this function, the product will also show the comparison price if available.
* **compare at price** will also multiply by the product quantity if you don't enable [<mark style="color:orange;">show prices per item</mark>](#show-prices-per-item)

#### <mark style="color:orange;">Show out of stock text:</mark>

* By default we do not display the sold out text, you need to enable this feature if you want to notify customers that the product in the bundle is out of stock.

## Troubleshooting

* If the bundle is not displaying, ensure the **Product Bundles** feature is enabled.
* Check that selected products are correctly assigned to the bundle.
