How to Receive Updates for Submissions

This article explains how to set up the different types of emails that are sent when someone subscribes to your products.

From the App Dashboard, go to Back in Stock > Settings > Activity Updates.


1. Activity Updates: Auto-send emails to notify you when a product is nearly out of stock.

  • Set the stock quantity threshold at which you’ll receive the notification.

  • You can enter multiple recipient email addresses.

  • By default, notifications will be sent to the email(s) set up in your Shopify account.

  1. Summary reports: Send summary of notifications automatically to the admin

  • Add multiple recipient emails if needed.

  • By default, these reports are sent to the email(s) set in Shopify.

  • Choose the notification frequency: Daily or Weekly.

  • Signup Period: Define the time frame during which customer sign-ups are counted in the report.

  1. Customers subscribe: Auto-send notification email to the admin when the customer registers back in stock

  2. Thank you message: Auto-send email to the customer when they subscribe for a product
