To do this, you’ll need to verify that the product inventory is set to 0. Then, follow these steps:

  1. In your App Admin, go to the Back in Stock tab

  2. Under the Appearance tab:

    • Check whether the Back-in-Stock button is set to be displayed or hidden.

  1. Go to the Condition tab and adjust the settings as follows:

  • Show only for out-of-stock products with tracked quantity:

    • Select this option to display the button only when inventory tracking is enabled and the stock reaches zero.

  • Show only for out-of-stock products with inventory policy:

    • Choose the appropriate option based on whether the product has “Continue selling when out of stock” enabled or disabled.

    • Tip: We recommend selecting the “Both” option to cover products that have this setting either enabled or disabled.

  • Show Back-in-Stock with products:

You can control which specific products will display the Back-in-Stock button alongside Pre-orders by choosing one of the following options:

    • All out-of-stock products – Show the button for every product that is out of stock.

    • Choose products – Manually select which products will display the button.

    • Tags – Use specific product tags to determine where the button appears.

    • Collections – Apply the setting to entire collections of products.

  • Hide Back-in-Stock for Specific Products

You can exclude certain products from showing the Back-in-Stock button by using either:

    • Tags

    • Collections

Note: After typing a tag, make sure to press Enter so it will be properly applied.

  1. After making your selections, click Save to apply the settings.
