Create filter sidebar for specific collection

🛠 How to Create a new Filter Sidebar

Step 1:

Go to the Filter > Manage Filter section from the app menu.

Step 2:

Click the “Add Filter” button to create a new filter sidebar.

Step 3: Name your new filter sidebar

Give your filter sidebar a name that helps you identify where it will be used (e.g., “Collection Sidebar,” “Search Sidebar,” etc.).

Step 4: Add Filter Options

Add and arrange filtering conditions such as:

  • Collections

  • Product Vendor

  • Price

  • Tags

  • Metafields

  • Variant Options (Color, Size, etc.)

💡 Tip: You can reorder filter options using drag and drop.

Step 5: Assign this new filter sidebar to collection page(s)

Under the “Applies To” section, choose where this filter sidebar should appear:

  • Collection Page(s)

  • Search Page

Step 6: Save

Click Save to apply your filter sidebar settings.

🧠 Best Practices

  • Use one sidebar per page type: This keeps your filters relevant to each page.

  • Name clearly: Use names like "Sidebar for Men Collection" or "Search Results Sidebar" to stay organized.

  • Avoid duplication: Assign only one sidebar per page to avoid conflicts.
