Add a recommendation section
Enhance your customers’ shopping experience by showing product recommendations using the Smart Product Filter & Search app.
🛠️ Step 1: Select Your Theme
Open the Smart Product Filter & Search app from your Shopify admin.
From the app's left sidebar, go to the Recommendation tab.
Choose the theme where you want to enable this feature.
💡 Tip: Make sure you're editing the correct theme (published or draft).
✅ Step 2: Enable the Recommendation Section
Choose a page on which you want to enable the section from the Product page/Home page/Collection page/Cart page.
Choose the recommendation type(s) you want to enable. For example: - Frequently Bought Together - Trending Products - Recently Purchased Products. - Etc.
Click the Turn On button to activate the recommendation section.
🔔 Once enabled, you’ll be able to insert this section directly into your store pages.
🎨 Step 3: Add the Section to Your Theme
Click the Add to Theme button.
You will be redirected to the Shopify Theme Customizer.
In the Theme Editor:
Click Add block in your desired page section (e.g., homepage).
Select the corresponding app's recommendation section based on the selected type in the step above.
Drag it into the position you want.
Click Save to publish.
🎯 You can place this block on the homepage, product page, or any other supported section.
🎉 You’re All Set!
Your recommendation section is now active and ready to help your customers discover more products they’ll love.
